Family Values
Many people are surprised to hear that after over thirty years prosecuting some of the worst criminals in Dauphin County, I still believe in the essential goodness of people. I love people. And it is why I do what I do.
I am the proud of husband of Christine Chardo. She is a third-grade teach at St. Joan of Arc School. We have two wonderful daughters. Catie is 18 and Sophie is 16. Raising a family has been the most impactful experience of my life. It has made me a better prosecutor and I know it will make me a better judge.
I am one of four children and I am very close to my parents and siblings. Three generations of our extended family still come together as often as we can especially in the summer. I learn so much from my family in good times and bad times. Such life experience gives common sense. And common sense is essential to being a good judge.
